I am very proud to announce the results of our Penny War that ended on Dec. 21. The students were able to raise $749.83 for Kids Against Hunger. This is an AWESOME start in our fundraising efforts for this event. As you can see from the picture of the results, the third graders were the winners of the fundraising contest. Although they were the ones that got to throw pies in Mr. Kirchhoff's face, the rest of the students didn't hesitate to join in on the fun.
In late January students will be selling Little Ceaser's kits and other pizza-related products. Again all the proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly to Kids Against Hunger. Hopefully, between the two fundraisers, we will raise enough money to make 5,000 meals in the spring at our Leadership Day event.
